And The Winner Is……..Paramus Rotary Club Charities

And the winner is ... The Paramus Rotary Club’s annual $20,000 Cash Raffle was held on June 11, 2009 at the Paramus Elks Club Hall.

This annual event raises funds for Scholarship Awards, The Rotary Gift of Life Program, and several other Rotary Club projects.

Pictured are Paramus Rotary Club’s Cash Raffle event Chairperson Ray Hough and event master of ceremonies Mike Kuzawski. Assisting with the selecting and tallying of raffle numbers are Linda Port, “Rotary's Vanna” Jennifer Padolina, and treasurer Arthur Fowler IV.


400 tickets were sold at $100 each with $20,000 going to the support of Rotary Charities and $20,000 to winning raffle ticket holders. 400 numbered ping pong balls are selected. The last three balls selected were the winners. The raffle number on the 398th selected ball received $2,000, the 399th received $3,000, and the final raffle number on the 400th ball received $15,000.

Rotary is a service club. Its business is mankind. Its product is service. Rotarians provide community service to both local and international communities.
