Rotary Members Contribute Generously to Gift Of Life

General News

On Thursday October 30th Paramus Rotary Club member Kevin Smith and his wife Tina generously contributed $2000 to the Rotary Gift of Life Program. These funds will be used to support life saving surgeries for babies with serious heart issues.

Kevin and Tina recently provided the use of their home as a site for television commercial but most magnanimously donated all of the funds offered by the company producing the commercial to the Paramus Rotary Club. Their generously is just one example of many other recent and ongoing acts of kindness from Paramus Rotary Club members.

Rotary River Revival

General NewsAfter months of planning, Sheryl Adamoff's District Community Service saw the fruits of their labor. About 30 Rotarians and friends dug in and literally got their feet wet! They chose the North Arlington Riverside County Park for the initial clean up site . Aided by the Passaic Valley River Restoration staff who supplied plastic bags, rakes wader boots and a means of disposing of the detritus, they managed to amass a huge pile which held tennis balls, soccer balls, plastic bottles and much more including a plastic hand.

Many clubs were represented and Paramus Rotary had Emil Geering, Kevin Behnke, Steve Farrell and his son Kyle as well as Glenda Campaniola. The recently formed Paramus Sunrise Club was represented by President Anthony Iacono, Treasurer Gary Spivak and his twin daughters, Sara and Kristen as well as Mel Fabrikant.
