A large group of Rotary Club of Paramus members (and a few friends) participated in National Wreaths Across America Day - December 18, 2021.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, this organization Remembers and Honors our deceased veterans by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Rotary Club members visited and particated in the laying of wreaths at Mount Rest Cemetery in Butler NJ.

Prior to the laying of wreaths on those graves containing the remains of veterans there was a brief ceremony honoring attending veterans (representing each branch of the military), the singing of our National Anthem, playing of Taps, and the blessing of the wreaths.

It was an honor to participate.
